Overview

The FRT VRE visibility meter is an intelligent visibility monitoring device developed and designed by our company based on the principle of aerosol front scattering. This product consists of main components such as a light emitter, a light receiver, and a microprocessor controller. The measurement range can be selected from three ranges: 5m-10km, 30km, and 50km. It can also add modules for measuring rain, snow, and fog weather phenomena. The device adopts RS485 output and has two communication protocols: Modbus and ASCII code. The visibility meter provides users with accurate and real-time visibility data, which can effectively avoid safety hazards such as driving and sailing caused by fog, haze, and haze. It can be widely used in transportation departments such as meteorological stations, airports, highways, waterways, and large ships.
